ARRL Field Day

2025 ARRL Field Day Logo DO NOT EDIT OR MODIFY

Time:         Noon Saturday June 27, 2026 to Noon Sunday June 28, 2026
Location:  Merrill School Community Centre

Field Day is ham radio's open house. Every June, more than 40,000 hams throughout North America set up temporary transmitting stations in public places to demonstrate ham radio's science, skill and service to our communities and our nation. It combines public service, emergency preparedness, community outreach, and technical skills all in a single event. Field Day has been an annual event since 1933, and remains the most popular event in ham radio.  Anyone who is interested in Amateur Radio is encouraged to drop by and see what Field Day is all about.  Drop by yourself and let your friends and family know about it too.

For 2026, SaDARA will again be at the new location south of Saskatoon that provides much easier access and plenty of amenities.  The Merrill School Community Centre.

If you are a licensed Amateur Radio Operator or even just interested in Amateur Radio, contact SaDARA to find out how you can participate.  SaDARA is now actively planning for ARRL Field Day 2026.  There will be a need for help setting up, operating equipment, logging of contacts, supporting those operating the equipment and providing information to and entertaining visitors and their families followed by cleaning up at the end of the event.  Be sure to let the SaDARA executive know if you are willing to assist.

How do I find the location?

It is a short drive south of Saskatoon along Valley Road then turn right onto Merrill School Road.  Follow that road until you see the Merrill School Community Centre on your left or the south side of the road.  Closer to the event time, watch for SaDARA signs on Valley Road directing you where to turn.
