SaDARA is hosting a demonstration of Amateur Radio also known as Ham Radio which is the use of the radio frequency spectrum for purposes of non-commercial exchange of messages, wireless experimentation, self-training, private recreation, radio sport, contests and emergency communication and community support. Amateur radio is a hobby that has a foundation in electronics and other technologies and is a great community with local clubs and millions of other hams around the world.

With an Amateur Radio licence, one can chat with hams across Canada and from other countries as ham radio is an excellent hobby for anyone from youth to seniors.  SaDARA is here to help you with the steps to become a licensed amateur radio operator.
